- Linear actuators

You should make a variety of linear actuators from cheap store bought stuf. Linear actuators are very useful and expensive off-the-shelf, like $100. There was an article in... some other mag, I forget, how to make a linear actuator with stuff from a hardware store: motor, threaded screw, bolt... I only saw a picture on the web. I didn't read the article. But it seemed like a really cool idea, especially since i was shopping for a linear actuator.Posted by anon430 on February 14, 2005 at 16:21:42 Pacific Time
