- Why NOT use DRM?
Reply
Napster came into existance. It abused the music industry, where many people that just downloaded the music, instead of buying CD's. I know quite a few people that did (and still do.) Apple comes along with iTunes music store, their DRM idea has turned the music industry around. Apple made the record industry accept the Internet as a form of distribution, and I'm glad they did, as I get my CD's cheaper, and instantly. I'm annoyed that you blast iTunes for its rather lenient DRM, because it costs a little time, to circumvent it.Posted by HKH on August 13, 2005 at 12:07:47 Pacific Time
