It appears that the blue material may be shapable after warming in hot water? What is it?Posted by lwbkc on February 11, 2006 at 14:42:11 Pacific Time

I often make keyers from plastic that melts at very low temperatures, by cooling my hand in ice water, and sometimes wrapping something around the hand, as well. Ideally find a plastic that melts in warm water. Alternatively you can make a keyer out of plaster, or sculpey (a modeling compound often used by children to make fun shapes).
I've also seen the low melting temperature plastic in various hobby stores that also sell other modeling materials like sculpey or femo.Posted by SteveMann on February 11, 2006 at 15:15:56 Pacific Time
