I just built one of these with my son. It was a lot of fun but it is only mildly effective. I was able to suck up a tiny ant, but it lacks enough suction for the real nasties that we are after.
Anyone have suggestions for turbo-charging this thing?

Hi Matt,
Regarding the spider rifle, I don't know enough about the physics, but how "compressed" does the air have to be, to be effective? Is there anyway you know of to hand-pump some canister to recharge it? It would be nice to have a spider rifle that doesn't require a $5 expenditure on compressed air every time you run out.
