- aquarium cloud chamber

I had my first run with my cloud chamber - it was unsuccessful.
I used a 10 gallon glass aquarium, a steel sheet for the bottom and kept felt at the top using a metal mesh (wedged in place using a lip of silicone). I think the downfall was that I was trying to fill too large of a space and did not have enough alcohol in the mix as well.

I started working on my own cloud chamber. Well actually I built it, I just need to get some dry ice and try it out.
