I had a question for further information for the rest of us who would consider the solar/electric car that John Weber made.
How many watts is the solar panel he purchased? Does that solar panel generate enough charge to drive the numbers stated in the article per day? or does it take multiple days to generate a full charge?
What are the amp/hours of the batteries used?
What kind of charge controller does he use to boost the solar voltage so that it will charge the main batteries?Posted by dnear1 on October 14, 2007 at 09:20:38 Pacific Time

I have a few questions. Can you tell me what parts and instructions you bought on e-volks.com? Also what was the model of solar panel and how many did you buy? What batteries are they? And what is the mileage on a tipocal day with a full charge? Thankyou for your time and please reply.
