Instead of using a clothespin and the recording module to surprise someone who walks in on the trap, go out to Hallmark, buy a talking card and cannibalize the sound piece. There are so many sound cards that you are almost guaranteed to find a really loud one to freak someone out.
I made one to attach to my door when my brothers friends sleep over, so they don't mess with me while I am sleeping. I carefully unstuck it from the card, taped it to my door, and found something to separate the tabs, so when my door was opened it would scream bloody murder.
