Build the Control Panel (Optional)
a. If you're making the wireless video viewfinder, I suggest mounting the wireless video receiver, R/C transmitter, requisite battery packs, and a small television (I used a battery-operated Casio TV-880) to a single panel to make it all easy to hold and operate.
b. You may need to build a DC power supply for one or more of the components (in my case it was the radio receiver). Check the specifications on the small black plug on the transformer that came with your device to see what sort of DC voltage is required to operate it. Use a battery holder (available at RadioShack) and enough 1.5-volt AA batteries wired in series to provide the voltage required to run your device.
