In page 147 is said that the Figure O shows a drawbot made from two servos and that the circuit is the same as for the pan-tilt head [of the webcam]. Sorry if I'm wrong, but while in my opinion the photo indeed shows a two servos drawbot, it (and logic) shows that the disposition of them can not be the same as for the camera. The drawbot does not move in the vertical direction (must not!). Besides, the code shows this as well: the fact that one motor must add a value to go to the right and the other must substract to go to the left, is a sign of the servos being back to back, connected each one with a wheel and not to each other.Posted by Miguel Dimase on September 05, 2009 at 09:19:03 Pacific Time

Thanks Miguel -- the article is correct, it says the Drawbot circuit is the same as for the pan-tilt cam, that is, the wiring of the servomotors to power, ground, and the Arduino microcontroller. The servos are mounted differently, and controlled by different code -- but their circuits are wired the same way. I hope that explains it!Posted by KeithHammond on September 08, 2009 at 11:10:04 Pacific Time
