I’m not going to say it’s not art, but I am going to say that it’s not something I’d ever want to look at or listen to.
I tend to agree. The whole “circuit bending” thing just seems like a catchy moniker attached to the practice of making something work/look/sound less well. I suppose everyone needs a hobby, but beyond the basic idea of maybe encouraging young kinds to poke around inside a musical toy, I don’t see the whole “bending” thing as particularly Make-y.
Looks like MakeZine is starting to go down hill a little. Now they post just about anything.
I guess all good things go bad sooner or later.
