IPic – A Match Head Sized Web-Server

Ipic The single chip computer on the site runs the iPic web-server, the world’s tiniest implementation of a TCP/IP stack and a HTTP web-server. The chip is a complete micro-computer, and it includes all components of a complete computer on a single tiny micro-chip (this includes the CPU (central processing unit), memory, serial port interface circuitry, and clock oscillator). Too bad it requires some sort of network interface chip to actually server up web pages ( http://www.picoweb.net/faq.html has the smallest web server that doesn’t require extra parts). Also, there’s a smaller one that someone implemented using an AVR: http://d116.com/ace/ and http://d116.com/ace/ace2.html

Cool little devil. I liked the AVR version even better. Thanks LAME!

Does anyone know of a webcam with built in ethernet stack and apache so the cam will plug into the LAN and be accessible over http?
