Making an ‘Operation’ game costume

00014X83 Jack writes “When I saw the post on the Make Blog about the guy who built an Operation game costume, I decided I could do a better job. So, I did. And I wrote up complete instructions, with pictures, to prove it.” Link. I think he should connect it to a cell phone and allow anyone to zap him via the web…

I was thrilled to discover a HUGE “Operation” game at someone’s camp at Burning Man this year….It was fully eight feet in length, accurate to the tiniest degree, and also featured the spinning wheel but rendered as a stand-up “gameshow” wheel. When you touched the edges, it shocked the crap out of you. Neat! Nearby was the giant “Mousetrap” game, which occupied about an acre.

While I LOVE this costume, there was this one I saw a party two years ago that was seriously cool. Her nose lit up and everything. But I think she was pressing a button from inside her box.
