If you want to apply a meta layer to the virtual world, you can now – SLurl is a way to make your own data/images/web pages appear over specific locations in the virtual world, Second Life. It’s a little like Google maps, and it allows you to teleport directly to that location. Also, see MAKE exploring the real world and virtual world with a low-cost wearable system!
