12-Magnetic Arrow Rest
Stuart Minica, Mechanical Engineer, La Vernia, TX. Magnetic Levitation Arrow Rest (Air-Rest): An arrow literally floats on air, only touching the bowstring of a bow, by a special arrangement of rare earth magnets to achieve magnetic levitation.

This is what invention is about! These all outclass most everything (except maybe the sandbag shovel — which I would put in this class) that was seen in the first episode of “America’s Greatest Inventor.”
