Make your own TV-B-Gone?

I’m really not sure if there’s enough information to build a DIY version of a TV-B-Gone, but this site seems to be a good start – the device can turn off any/all TVs by cycling through the IR codes for “off” – French & English.

    Of course the model airplane community doesn’t “get it” — you’re not using overpriced balsa, foam and epoxy that the magazines (and their advertisers) consider to be essential….keep up the good work!
