I’d like to do this with some manuals I have, but I don’t want to drop $300 on the full version of Acrobat. Is there any free software to take a pile of TIFFs and make them into a PDF?

    Assuming you are on windows…

Cute PDF is a virtual printer that will print anything to a pdf… so take stack of tifs.. select all.. right click.. hit print.. suffer through M$ print dialog.. print 1 per page.. then select cute pdf printer.
