I tried this before with the Nokia, and it works, up to a point. Sending a lot of text messages can start to have problems. I know Omni Instruments have a GSM/GPRS modem which last time I used could send ten text messages a minute. Not as cheap as the Nokia, but $155 for a TriBand modem is pretty good.
