This was on “I Want That” like… Sunday-ish
I’m thinking this, with that glow in the dark grout they aired a year or so ago…
but then again, I’m not a pothead, so I’d lose out on the “trippiness” of it all.
squaressays:
The tiles cost quite a bit more than I imagined they would.
The back wall alone would cost ~$2700. I’m not sure what’s reasonable as I’ve heard of bathroom remodeling jobs costing far more than that, but I’d wonder if I would get tired of it.
svofskisays:
Maybe only when they form some kind of pattern.. I figure they’re completely black when “relaxed”, a full wall or four of complete black makes any bathroom a little bit too goth. Let’s see this in hands of decent designers.
jovinosays:
It falls under the “neat” category, but why is this even on Make?!
philliptorronesays:
jovino, it’s cool new technology… we feature that, all thing MAKE related.

svoski – the same company makes tiles that start like blue, green, and white that shift colors, like blue goes to white, white goes to purple and I can’t remember green, so you could still break up the “goth” look
