Pumice
New Zealand based Chris Booth’s sculptures made from rocks, wood and natural objects… [via] – Link.

Pictured here, Pumice from the Mountains“Thousands of floating boulders of pumice were gathered, drilled and threaded with stainless steel cable into tall hollow helical forms. The pumice originally exploded from Lake Taupo approx 2000 years ago and is still continually eroding and being washed down the Wanganui River. The sculpture symbolises the volcanic mountains from where the pumice erupted so long ago.”
