The first green dream is the “Green Light”. A plant (Hedera) grows around an (energy saving!) lamp. You can grow it or cut it to dim or brighten the light. Coming soon in alternative versions such as Woodbine (Lonicera), grape, and tomato plant! Designed by Twan Verdonck for DreamingreeN. Available in the shop in three formats: product, DIY and download.
Odd, I can’t find the DIY plans, but it’s pretty easy to re-make this.

hopefully remake it with a nicer pot, a half an old plastic coke bottle is kinda hokey
neat idea still
Nice idea.
According to the linked website, the ‘DIY’ and ‘download’ versions will only be available from 31 March 2007.
Is that just a regular compact flourescent bulb?
They make special compact fluorescent grow lights—I think the light spectrum in the standard bulbs doesn’t incorporate both of the peak wavelenghts that plants need, although they may be OK for non-flowering plants like this ivy. I used to grow orchids, etc. under fluorescents and you had to mix warm and cool colored bulbs or get full spectrum.
This one is really looking just awesome post. As the green light really provides the great light frequencies to the plant as per their want. And this one is really playing the major role of the Sun light. This post really drives me on the cool way. Thanks for sharing some great thing.
