This fun spot the octopus trend, all started when Julie Jackson of Subversive Cross Stitch sent me her octopus hot dog that was the winner of the WNYC and Amy Sedaris Craft Challenge back in Feb. Subsequently, Julie’s started seeing octopus everywhere including an octopus cookie from a pack of sea creature cookies from Whole Foods, and these weird octopus flavored Tako Chips from Japan. Looks like octopuses are everywhere!
