I didn’t think Make: supported piracy. The only purpose of this mod is to play burned games. People try to say that it is because they don’t want the original disks to get scratched but we all know it is for piracy. Hacking the original xbox was cool because of things like XBMC but this is not cool.

@plaster people play their back up discs, they fix their drives (the firmware lets you change the laser settings, other things and more — will some use it for piracy? of course, but the same can be said with cdrs, computers, copy machines, any thing really…

  3. GoblinJuice says:

@plaster – Yeah, you’re right… to play burned games… that JUST HAPPEN TO BE BACKUPS OF PURCHASED GAMES.

Look, man, I doubt you have any clue what a kid… animal… lazy, slacker adult… can do to a disc. Backups have saved my butt many, many times. :-)

The “people could use X to do Y – which is baaad” arguement is sooo lame.

What’s next? Hm? Let’s ban hammers! And buckets of water! And, and, and….!

Make doesn’t support piracy anymore than you or I support bashing people in the head with hammers. :-P

    btw – I don’t even friggin’ OWN a 360. Too damn poor. I’ve got a PS2, tho!

sorry, i must have posted twice by accident

That’s why the Xbox 360 sells well next to the Wii, it’s easily moddable to play backups and has good games.
