This project, a large light box, contains all 374 pages of the 2007 IKEA catalogue, each simplified to a rectangle of pure color and arranged them left-to-right , top-to-bottom.

With an estimated 175 million copies distributed in 2006, the IKEA catalogue is thought to have surpassed the Bible as the most published print-work in the world.

Wait a minute. It may well have achieved more copies distributed over a short period, but the number of households in the world that contain Bibles far exceeds the number that contains Ikea catalogues — doesn’t it?

yeah, something doesn’t sound right about that claim. Most published work in one year maybe? The Guinness book of world records self-claims they have the record for best-selling copyrighted book. Which Bible are they talking about too… All versions combined or just one? What about phonebooks? What about the manual for say “windows”?
I call Bull, but I could be wrong ;)
    PS> Ikea Rocks!
