    Warm climate people slay me!!! Wouldn’t it melt the ice below??? Believe it or not, HEAT RISES!!! Ice is often 12″-24″ thick. Bonfires right on the ice melt an inch or so, but that standing water shields the heat from melting any farther. Jeff Foxworthy called us stoupid for doing this on Blue Collar. You would need a 24 hour heat scource AND remove the standing water to melt through the ice entirely.
