Vintage Ladybird Prints and Books

Cathy of California
just hepped me to the great news that not only are classic Ladybird Books being reissued (check out the Ladybird Books entry on Wikipedia for more background on these fun kiddie books published in the ’60s and ’70s), but you can also purchase beautiful full-color prints featuring artwork from various Ladybird volumes. Naturally I’m drawn to the Hobbies & Crafts category, where you’ll find tons of great images like the ones posted here. They’re available as paper or canvas prints in various sizes, up to around 4 feet high! To start your own wish list, check out Ladybird Prints online.

Just got back from browsing the prints… it sure was a “White” world back then. Kinda hard to swallow. I did see a couple people of color working in the fields. Sheesh.
