Seriously screwed up

Seriously screwed up

If your all-time favorite simple machine is the helical inclined plane, if words like “panhead,” “countersink,” and “Pozidriv” have a mysteries hold over you, if your idea of fun is looking at vintage YouTube footage of Soviet-era screw-drive vehicles (and whose isn’t?), you’ll want to bookmark the singular hardware high weirdness that is the Screw Asylum.

A double post titled “Seriously screwed up” – That is just dripping with delicious irony.
I so want this to be a mistake!

Unfortunately, I’m cynical enough to believe it was intentional – which would make it nothing more than a cheap stunt.

Sounds like you logged on during a site update and found double posts. oooohhh….

Heck, it happens. Like we’re prefect (sic…) PT gets it quick and everyone else wonders about the comment.

It seems you have mistaken me for one of Make’s detractors.

It wasn’t that I particularly wanted to see a mistake in the land of Make. Only that I wanted the anomaly I did see to be accidental rather than intentional.

I realised that it was in fact a mistake or some sort of glitch when I reloaded the main page and the double post had disappeared.

It was corrected quickly and I should have known better than to suspect cheap trickery.

I have no desire to be an editor, senior or otherwise, you guys are doing just fine without my assistance. But thanks for the offer, anyway.
