Why by a 4×4 matrix when you can make one? This is a self contained LED matrix that runs on a PIC 12F628A. They promise to post the Eagle Schematic and code soon. It would be nice to see all the coded patterns that he has created for this project.
A few years ago, when I finally got around to learning PIC programming, I decided to I wanted to create something that would run LED animations on a small 4×4 matrix. I liked the idea of the small 4×4 size because I was starting with a PIC 16F628A.
