Welcome Luke!

Welcome Luke!

Luke
Luke will be writing about the Austin maker scene, Maker Faire Austin and other interesting things…

Luke Iseman lives and makes in Austin, Texas. Having escaped from his cubicle just in time to maintain a bit of creativity, he works on assorted projects all day and drives a bicycle taxi by night (really). His favorite completed project is the Honeybike, a GPS cell phone married to a stun gun to prevent further theft of his bicycles. This photo is from his attempt to make an electric motorcycle at Maker Faire Austin last year (it worked for 15 glorious minutes before the motor melted). ‘Coming someday soon’ projects include a guerrilla urban farm, robot chicken tractor, greywater vegetable garden, and humanure composting system. He’s really hoping the last one works better than his average project:)
