The California State Fair has an amusement ride powered by cow manure. It’s called the “Barnyard Animal Train”, and uses biogas from Pacific Gas and Electric. The fair runs through September 1st, so there’s still time to go! Via Ecogeek

Last weekend at the Montomgery County fair in Maryland, I noticed signs indicating that all of the amusement rides were being powered by BioDiesel from local soybeans. Not Cow poo, but interesting anyway.
Especially since biodiesel has been more expensive than petrol-diesel. Nice that people are trying alternatives.
