The next meeting of the Textile Study Group of New York will feature a lecture by quiltmaker Emiko Toda Loeb.
Emiko Toda Loeb, Japanese-American quiltmaker, best known for her reversible quilts built upon a traditional “log cabin” foundation using American and antique Japanese fabrics. The two sides of these quilts are so surprisingly different from each other that it’s hard to fathom how they were constructed.
