It’s pretty nice, but reports online have the list price around $10,000 (or more). I have to wonder who is going to spend that much on a sewing machine these days.

A camera to show you exactly where you’re putting your needle? That’s brilliant! First good reason I’ve seen for putting a screen on a sewing machine.

This is the first IT-product I’ve seen which actually tries to improve your productivity. They even tried to make the user interface go fast, and they even designed in all the obvious features.

I guess it’s because they are selling to a market which could do anything that machine does manually.

DRATS! I already own six machines! Now I think I feel a new purchase coming as soon as Jenome has one. I do not really care for the Brother brand personally. But, it does sound tempting ;)

Okay, so it is very savvy…but does it Twitter? LOL

Too bad the computer industry doesn’t take over the sewing machine industry, because they are not getting the message. Embroidery needs to be generic USB drive(s) and the machine needs to recognize the standard graphic formats, especially .jpg so we can make our own designs using our own graphic packages. All the machines should auto thread, auto tension and fabric sense.

These current price tags are ridiculous and costs more than 10 times my new notebook. Ladies, wake up and stop buying in order to force the prices down. We do all the hours of work and have to pay for all the materials, so why pay such exorbitant prices in order for them to retire on our nickel. Time to boycott.
