A friend-of-a-friend made these neat little zipper purses out of old Dorito bags. They are surprisingly robust. I will make it my life’s goal to have her explain how she did it so I can share the process with you.

I just bought one of this at the gift shop at our local Museum of American Art! It was quite pricey (for a small bag made of paper!) and was made from chocolate Tootsie Roll pop wrappers! It made a perfect gift for an artsy fun friend who has everything!

Last winter I made one of these. There is a blog on blogspot called candy wrapper purses that has a pretty good explanation. I made a small clutch using only the shiny side of the bags. One thing that the blog spot does that I didn’t do was put paper in my links. Instead I made all of mine and put them in a big book to press them, they stayed pretty well.

I love these. I saw one at a party this last summer and fell in love with them. Found several in San Antonio Market Square. They are quite pricey. These were purse sized about 11″ by 8″ and ran about $45 to $55. I would love to make one myself.
