Check out this sweet little earbud owl our very own John Park made, using the Epilog Zing laser cutter he’s been playing around with, and an “owl wrap” cord manager file from Thingiverse. He was probably going to post it here eventually, but I beat him to it [cue: childish taunting sounds].

I bet if you add a little latex to the inside of the eyes or that slot for the plug it would secure them nicely. I’m going to try it.

You did beat me to it, Gar! I love the design, which is by digital artist Christopher Thompson. He posted some photos of the revisions he went through leading to the current version here: http://eagleapex.com/de/owl-wrap/

If you don’t have access to a cutter, you can buy one on his Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19726488

And if you’re wondering about the etchings at the bottom of the one I made, those are the remnants of an etching test I did with the clipart pelican Epilog provides with the print driver installation.
