3D Printing & Imaging Craft & Design

This beehive bracelet was modeled using OpenSCAD, a tool I’m looking forward to exploring! It was made by Thingiverse user Catarina; she printed it on her MakerBot. Stylish!

This year was my first makers fair. But months before hand I was at the denist office and she used this type of machine for making my tooth while i waited to have a cap replaced. After seeing it work all I could think about was making jewelry with the machine!! and out of the the tooth material even before I touched it. I just wanted to play with the computer program and the machine. After the makers fair I realized I was not the only crazy one!! I felt at home. I am a techno NO-KNOW. But it doesn’t stop me from wanting to be playing with all the stuff. I can always see other uses for things. I can’t build them, fix them, or design the mechanics of the thing, but I can visualize a use that needs to be filled, or what a machine can be used for other than it’s natural use. Thank you!!! the beehive design, was verification I was on the right road!
