Use a small amount of conductive thread sewn onto your glove’s fingertip to use your touch screen phone! Touch screens work by measuring the way your skin conducts electricity, so the thread connects the screen and your finger through the insulating barrier of your gloves. [via craftycrafty]

OK, this is brilliant. I hate having to take my gloves off every time I want to use my iPhone.
Now where to get conductive thread??
Michelle
Hey Michelle,
If you think you might be interested in doing more with conductive materials than just this glove mod, Maker Shed carries a conductive booster pack, which has conductive thread, fabric, tape, velcro, a coin cell battery, and some LED lights. http://www.makershed.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=MSCBP

Seems like it would scratch the screen
This is a brilliant idea!! I love it. But I was also wondering, can it scratch the screen? I’m afraid to test it out LoL! ; )
I’m sure it depends on what conductive thread you use, but the stuff I have won’t scratch the screen (it’s from Lame Lifesaver).
This is my first time pay a quick visit at here and i am really happy to read all at alone place.
