3D Printing & Imaging

I know it’s just a video of a 3D printer laying down plastic, but Festo sure does a great job of showing how sexy the hardware is! I love the spool holding the plastic, and the threaded rods spinning as the extruder rises and drops.

Is it just me (getting old and grumpy) or is it getting rather sad the whole naming things with ‘i’ in front of them? Hell, even Apple doing with their new placemat computer thing seems lame.

Aside from that the machine looks nicely made! I like the clear acrylic so you can see all the doings.
