Valentine Gingerbread House

Kristy of Craftastica makes a great point in her post about this fun Valentine gingerbread house she made with her children.

This year the girls and I decided to make gingerbread houses. Well, the holidays can sort of sneak up on a person, so we didn’t make them until after Christmas. That got me thinking, why is gingerbread mostly for Christmas? I left off the green, went crazy with red and white, and viola, a cute little house we can leave up until February.

Brilliant! I made gingerbread houses for the first time this holiday season, and it was fun but still a bit overwhelming with all the other holiday goings-on. I love the idea of bringing gingerbread houses in to other holidays!
