My friend Matt Silver showed me the quick and dirty urban camouflage iPad case he made out of an old composition notebook cover and a scrap of non-slip rug padding. This has to be the coolest iPad case I’ve seen to date. Not only is it extremely simple, low-cost, and recycled, but it has that great worn-in feeling.

    A large fabric covered elastic band would be a quick way to keep it closed when not in use. Don’t want that thing slipping open if dropped! Some of the sporty elastic headbands are “grippy” and would be less prone to slip off.
