Right at the center of Maker Faire Bay Area’s Expo Hall sat a 15′x24′ model of an imaginary solar system. Dubbed “Fata Morgana“, this elegant rotating construction of metal, motors, and light was created by Mr. Orion Fredericks – and is actually a model for a much larger forthcoming piece of kinetic sculpture.
