Cosmic Cooker Howtoon

Howtoons just released another great toon; this one lets your kids get in on the backyard BBQ action without starting any fires! The Cosmic Cooker Howtoon teaches kids about the physics of solar power, the geometry of parabolic reflectors, and the importance of a classic summer meal (I personally would also experiment with s’mores). The Howtoons blog has a great post explaining the different models of solar cooker they experimented with before settling on the parabolic reflector. And, as always, I think the toon is fun for all ages–tin foil is a lot cheaper than lighter fluid and charcoal!
