As part of this program, we’re producing a series of Make: Shorts, videos on “Maker Pioneers,” inventors, entrepreneurs, makers who are dreaming up clever solutions to today’s energy and environmental problems. Our first video is with Saul Griffith. Readers of MAKE already know Saul through his “Making Trouble” and “Howtoons” columns in the the magazine. Here, he talks about one of his many impressive ventures, Onya Cycles, and the building of innovatively designed, electric-powered commuter/cargo bikes.
