Copper-clad board is strong, lightweight, good-looking, and reportedly has EM shielding benefits desirable for low-power ham operators. Ken (wa4mnt) at QRP Builder has produced a nicely-detailed tutorial (PDF) that shows off the precise hand-work that goes into making his cases. Nuts can be soldered directly to the board to provide screw closures or other fittings. [via Hack a Day]
