MIDI scooter

Energy & Sustainability Music

I merged my MIDI-playing code with my scooter-driving code and put them both on the new, rad-hardened 3ph v3.1 controller.

This will be a great idea until the Prius hacking community hears about it.

I have always wanted to do something like this, awesome! I want to hear it playing the theme from MacGyver.

another thought… I used to work in a machine shop, and I had this idea of making a “machine shop quartet” using the spindle frequency controlled induction motors on the Haas machines to create different tones. One of the smaller Haas VMC’s used a weight on roller chain for a z-axis counterbalance, and it would clunk and bump around in the column when the Z-axis did a rapid traverse. I figured that would make a good percussion and/or bass line. Anyone with a machine shop willing to realize my inspiration =)
