Congrats Jason Scott & Internet Archive!

In makers-we-like-to-celebrate-news… The Internet Archive just hired the best person in world for something that calls itself the Internet Archive. Congrats Jason, and congrats to all of us – quite a bit of computing history will not be lost.

Jason Scott is incredible – I just recently watched all of the documentary series “BBS” and am planning on watching “Get Lamp” (did not realize it was the same guy who did both!) and I’m glad that people like him are being appreciated as much as they are and are being rewarded for their tireless efforts to document the past while looking towards the future!

I exchanged emails with Jason years ago when he was traveling the country to put together BBS. Awesome work he has done.

    1200 baud and proud!
