Natalie Freed, Jie Qi, and Adam Setapen gave me this pair of videos detailing their super cool Telescrapbook project.  It’s a pair of semi-normal looking scrapbooks to which users can add sensor and actuator stickers when constructing pages.  Manipulation of these stickers can then cause interesting things to happen in the corresponding pages of the other book.  Check out this video for an illustration of how it works:

I like this project because it explores the limits of what it takes to truly feel “connected” to another person (can it *really* be accomplished by something as simple and 1-bit as a button and LED pair?) using a media form which already has strong connotations of preserving memories of shared experiences.
