I bought one of these, and a motor shield, at Maker Faire. It seems just what I need for a project I’ve been thinking of.

I bought, from a thrift shop, a swell Locutus of Borg head. Jean Luque Picard with cyborg gear. It is a “cup topper,” given away as a fast food promo item.

If things work out, the head will ride atop the cart, shooting a laser beam and uttering Borg threats.

Now we have a little bit of everything for makers, crafters, and budding scientists, from Arduinos to sock monkeys to chemistry sets .
