Last night I went to the opening of The (S) Files 2011, the sixth biennial exhibition at El Museo del Barrio, and saw loads of great crafty works, like Jessica Kair√©’s “Objectos de Confort.”

…the CONFORT project represents a fictional brand of soft and warlike sculptures that offer psychological relief and a sense of protection to the consumer. The sculptural objects are hand manufactured with delicate fabrics and poly-fill, and then labeled as prototypes for mass-production.

She even has pictures of CONFORT Sewing Patterns displayed on her site, just in case you need a few hints on making your own plush grenade.
