Hackers on a Plane 9.0: Hackers for Japan, departs SFO or AMS Saturday November 5 and returns Sunday November 20, 2011.

Hackers love Japan. As we found out on Hackers on a Plane 4, Japan loves Hackers too and they can’t wait for us to come back.

The focus of this trip is bringing Hackers to Japan to continue to build upon the strong ties we forged on the last HoaP to Japan. In addition to the great times in store on the trip, traveling to Japan with HoaP demonstrates a strong commitment to breaking down cultural and linguistic barriers that divide the global Hacker community.

Your ticket includes admission to PacSec and the (tentatively scheduled) Make Tokyo Meeting on top of going on an extensive tour of Japan, checking out traditional Japanese culture, off-beat Hacker hangouts and everything in between.

If you’re interested, I suggest signing on now: the price goes from $/€1,337.00 to $/€2600.00 to $/€3,133.70 as the tickets are sold.
