  4. Looks nice, but for me this project is not so useful as I don’t plays my movies on the TV from a PC.  I have a DVD player, a set-top box connected from my ISP and a media player (not PC based) connected to it.  Not a PC within visible range.
    If the device had a hdmi or composite video input I’d be getting one (or building a clone) this instant.

  5. I allready etched the board and found most of the components (by coincidece i ordered 100 smd rgb leds yesterday) but i couldn’t find any store to sell the led driver chip (i’m from germany) anyone know a compatible one, that is easyer to get?

    1. I just received an email (in russian!) about pre-orders costing 2790 rubles (~85 USD).
      Unfortunately, it seems that they only ship to Russia for the moment…

    I just paíd $20.87 for an íPad 2.64GB and my boyfriend loves his Panasoníc Lumíx GF 1 Cámera that we got for $38.79 there arriving tomorrow by UP S.I will never pay such expensive retail príces in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LCD T V to my boss for $657 which only cost me $62.81 to buy.
