ITP student Marcele Godoy designed and sewed a handsome cat puppet, but went the extra mile by turning it into an animatronic keyboard player with full documentation.

Using Arduino, Processing, and an armature made of Lego, the user can push buttons on a computer that correspond to several Daft Punk samples, also causing the cat to mimic the moves of a righteous keyboard player.

Complete with tin foil and orange visor, this cat can surely kick out the jams, but an earlier incarnation that was purely human-controlled by puppeteer Antonius Wiriadjaja is also worth a look. Check it out!
